Introduction

Hello, my name is Dustin Price. This website was made to give potential clients and employers a more well rounded view of who I am and what I can do for them. From this site, you can easily take a look at my resume in either [html] or [doc] format (I am working on getting it in pdf format). Sometimes a resume isn't enough to get a good grasp on who a person really is. For that reason I have also included a portfolio of all the work that I have done. You may also take a look at current projects to see what I am currently working on.

Education

I graduated from The University of Central Florida in December 2004. I recieved a Bachelors of Science in Computer Science and graduated with a 3.0 GPA. I took courses such as C Programming, Object Oriented Programming, Database Management, Software Systems, and also support classes such as Technical Report Writing, and Speech for Technical Professions. I have also had experience through school in languages varying from C/C++ and Java, to more functional and logical languages such as LISP and Prolog.

Skills and Experience

Currently I work on individual contracts designing websites for different clients. Mostly I have done XHTML/CSS and graphic work for these clients, but I also have a good grasp of PHP and MySQL. The area I would like to focus on is PHP and MySQL. I do not have much work to show in this area as most of the clients that I have done work for have not needed anything more than a simple site. I do however try to come up with my own projects to work on my PHP and MySQL skills. You should be able to see what I am working on in the Projects area of the site.

I believe one of my strongest skills to be the ability to learn, change and adapt. Whether it be a new programming language, new company policy, or just any new situation, I have always been able to take it in stride. I also have a great ability to not only learn from my own mistakes and successes but from others' as well.
